Dubai Weather by Month: Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit Dubai is November through March, when daytime highs sit between roughly 25°C and 31°C and outdoor plans need no special planning. Summer is a different story, with highs of 39–41°C from June to September, but it's far from a write-off if you choose the right time of day. Here's what each part of the year looks like, and what it means for the tours people actually book.

November to March: The Comfortable Months

These are the months Dubai is built for. According to long-term climate averages, daytime highs run about 31°C in November, 27°C in December, 25°C in January, 26°C in February, and 28°C in March. Nights cool down noticeably, and rain is rare enough that it almost never affects a booking. This is the season when the desert safari, open-deck cruises, and long city walks all work at any time of day.

April, May and October: The Shoulder Months

April averages around 32°C, October around 36°C, and May climbs to about 37°C. These months are hot but manageable if you avoid the middle of the day. Evening tours are the natural fit: the desert and the water both cool down after sunset, so an evening plan feels very different from the afternoon heat you see in the daytime figures.

June to September: Summer

Highs reach about 39°C in June, 40°C in July, 41°C in August, and 39°C in September, with humidity that makes it feel heavier near the coast. Summer visitors do well by flipping their schedule: outdoor activities early morning or after dark, and indoor time in the middle of the day. Very little rain falls in these months, so the weather is hot but predictable.
